Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking an E ntry-Level CAD Designer to join our team in Quakertown, PA. This position requires AutoCAD and GIS software to produce engineering and construction documents.
Our ideal candidate, under direction from senior staff, will be able to prepare construction drawings for various Geotechnical and Environmental projects including retaining walls, support of excavation, and construction details.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare construction drawings and figures for a variety of engineering projects under the direction of senior staff
- Review drawings to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards
- Prepare and maintain a library of typical construction details
Minimum Requirements :
High School or General Equivalency DiplomaBasic knowledge of standard construction practicesStrong problem-solving skillsDetail orientedExcellent organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to work in a team settingBasic knowledge of AutoCADExperience with Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred Qualifications :
