• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of IMC / Stepdown experience required
• Medical / Neuro ICU experience preferred
• Must have experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, art lines, neuro-stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management
• Required to pass an ECG / Telemetry exam including reading / interpreting rhythm strips - failure results in contract termination
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve Day = 1 holiday)
• May be required to float to other units based on organizational needs and competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an 18-bed intermediate care unit
• Care for patients with severe but non-life threatening conditions including post-stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory patients
• Perform moderately complex assessments and intensive therapies in a fast-paced environment Facility : This major healthcare facility is an extremely busy Level II Trauma Center serving a 500-mile radius with the volume and pace of a Level I trauma center.
