("WRAP") is a public safety technology company committed to advancing safer outcomes for law enforcement, first responders, and communities through innovative solutions, tools, training, and tactics.The Product Specialist will play a key role in advancing this mission by supporting the development, optimization, and lifecycle management of WRAP's technology platforms, including WrapReality-our immersive Virtual Reality (VR) training ecosystem-and WrapVision-our digital evidence management and body-worn camera solution.This is a highly cross-functional role that requires strong technical acumen, organizational skill, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives across product lines.Reporting directly to the Vice President of Product, the Product Specialist will collaborate with engineering, R&D, technical stack, programmers, developers, and commercial teams to execute on WRAP's product roadmap, optimize the backlog, and ensure that products are delivered with excellence.This role will serve as the operational number two to the VP of Product-helping translate strategy into execution and ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes across the product portfolio.Key Responsibilities Primary focus areas include WrapReality (VR training ecosystem) and WrapVision (body-worn camera and digital evidence management platform) products, project development, and upgrade management.Additional responsibilities may extend to WRAP's CUAS (Counter-UAS) projects, DoD programs, and other hardware, software, or service innovations as assigned by the Vice President of Product.Product Lifecycle & Management Manage full lifecycle of assigned product lines-from requirements gathering and backlog management to deployment, customer feedback, and optimization.Translate product vision and strategy into actionable development tasks using Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.Work directly with engineering teams and third-party developers to ensure milestones, deliverables, and quality standards are met.Collaborate on VR and simulation environments using Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms (Oculus, Vive, Meta, etc).Provide technical feedback on new immersive learning modules, hardware integrations, and performance improvements.Maintain familiarity with emerging technologies in XR / AR / VR, simulation training, and AI-enhanced learning environments.Collaborate on Video Management and Digital Evidence Management solutions and programs (Wrap’s Intrensic DEMS) Provide technical feedback on security upgrades, system modules, API integrations, updates, upgrades, and performance improvements.Maintain familiarity with emerging technologies in AI and DEMS software solutions.Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as liaison between Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and R&D to ensure clear communication and aligned priorities.Collaborate with Customer Success to gather structured feedback and translate customer insights into actionable backlog items.Support cross-departmental initiatives to align training, operations, and product goals.Cloud & DevOps Integration Oversee technical workflows in AWS (preferred) and / or Azure cloud environments.Participate in DevOps pipelines, testing, and deployment processes for continuous improvement and scalability.Ensure security and compliance standards (CJIS, data lifecycle management) are maintained across all digital platforms.Innovation & Research Contribute to research and development initiatives in simulation, data analytics, and digital evidence management.Assist in exploring new technologies applicable to law enforcement, defense, and public safety.Qualifications Required :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.Minimum of four (4) years of product ownership or management experience.Experience managing technical projects in SaaS, VR, or digital product environments.Proficiency with Unity or Unreal Engine and major VR hardware platforms (Oculus, Vive, Meta, etc.).Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks, including Jira and / or Azure DevOps.Experience in AWS or Azure environments; AWS preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.Preferred :
