Library Assistant role at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
The Library Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to the Southeastern community in three public service areas of the library : Circulation, Floor, and Reference.
Responsibilities
- Staff the Circulation Desk by welcoming patrons in a friendly manner, assisting patrons with circulation functions, and engaging with patrons in a winsome manner.
- Maintain the circulating and reference library collections by shelving, straightening, and shelf reading.
- Assist patrons at the Reference Desk by guiding them with research, teaching them how to use library resources, and helping them locate helpful research materials.
