The business has a history dating back 100 years Global revenues total approximately $225 million, supported by 700+ employees concentrated in manufacturing and selling sites in the US, Switzerland and China. The business is managed by region with a lean corporate leadership team.

EDUCATION :
- B.S. / B.A. Degree in Accounting
- CPA designation or MBA degree strongly preferred
EXPERIENCE :
Minimum 2-4 years working as a senior accountant and / or staff accountant (manufacturing experience preferred)Experience completing general accounting in accordance with US GAAP and financial close functions in ERP systems, with Oracle JDE experience strongly preferredPrior experience working for a global accounting firm ( Big 4) a plusDemonstration of increasing levels of responsibility and experienceSPECIFIC TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES :
Strong understanding of US GAAP Accounting principlesHighly analytical, and driven to prepare and analyze financial reports, data sets and modelsExcellent project management skills, including managing deadlinesComfortable working in a dynamic environmentDemonstrated interpersonal skills to work productively across the organizationKEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Support month-end close process , including preparation and recording of journal entries as assignedSupport the completion of the monthly financial packageProvide explanations for expense variances noted in the monthly financialsAct as administrator for Avalara for the sale tax functionsAssist with weekly Accounts Payable payment runs, utilizing JP Morgan AccessCollaborate with Human Resources to support payroll postings and commissions paymentsPrepare supporting schedules for the auditReview and recommend modifications to accounting processes and proceduresComplete special projects as assignedSalary & Benefits :
