Graphics Support Specialist

On-site support required for the USCG C4IT Learning & Media division, as well as for CG-DOL. Team support includes Web / SharePoint, IT Customer support for MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, hardware issues, and Graphics support. Performed at Coast Guard Headquarters (CGHQ) in Washington, DC and at CG-DOL in the Norfolk, VA area. Responsible for troubleshooting graphic-related issues and providing technical support to team members and clients. By leveraging their expertise in graphic design software and tools, they will enhance the overall visual communication strategy of the organization.

Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design skills and previous work experience.

Familiarity with web design principles and user experience (UX) design.

Provide technical support and guidance to team members regarding graphic design software and tools.

Troubleshoot and resolve graphic-related issues in a timely manner.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve graphic design processes.

Attention to detail is crucial when editing graphics to ensure accuracy and consistency across all materials. Strong communication skills will facilitate effective collaboration with team members and clients, allowing for a smooth workflow. Problem-solving abilities will be utilized when troubleshooting graphic-related issues, ensuring that projects remain on track. Additionally, familiarity with industry trends will enable the specialist to bring innovative ideas to the table, enhancing the overall visual strategy.
