Product Manager - Otter POS

Otter provides infrastructure and software that enables food operators to open delivery-only locations with minimal capital expenditure and time. We're taking restaurants to a whole new place. Where seamless delivery is prioritized, costs are minimized, and profits are maximized for anyone involved in the food industryfrom entrepreneurs, and independent operators, to established restaurant chains.

Our software assists our customers in all stages of their food business, from onboarding via a turn-key solution to our ghost kitchens to managing their delivery services and business all in one platform. We are building technology that gives superpowers to digital restaurants to empower them so they can focus on what they do best : serving their customers.

What You'll Do

• Drive the roadmap and strategic direction for our Otter POS Team, which is developing our in-house point of sale system and disrupting a 100+ year old industry.
• Build products that are the beating heart of the brick-and-mortar restaurant operations.
• Develop a full understanding of the order life cycle, the interactions required by front-of-house staff, and the opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with our data platform and data science teams to deliver financially accurate reporting, real-time analytics and insights to operators to drive meaningful impact to their business.
• Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure that you drive innovative value to our customers in a rapidly evolving restaurant industry.

This role is based in our Los Angeles office location. We believe that people do their best work when they are together. As a company, we're in the marketplace of ideas and innovation. That's why all of our teams (except for our field-based roles) are now working from one of our office locations 5 days a week.
