Sr Accountant - San Francisco Based

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting. As an integral member of our growing and collaborative Accounting team, you'll help strengthen the integrity and reliability of Side's financial operations. This role focuses on revenue recognition and brokerage transaction accounting, driving efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across daily general ledger activities and the period end close process. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You'll partner closely with executive leadership, finance, operations, and account management teams to support decision-making, streamline processes, and contribute to Side's continued growth and success.

What You'll Do :

• Lead all aspects of the daily activities of the Revenue accounting department and related systems.
• Ensure GAAP treatment of all entries to the general ledger.
• Prepare account reconciliations and investigate variances as needed.
• Maintain vital procedures and internal controls related to Revenue and GL accounting.
• Assist with the timely month and year end close of financial statements.
• Assist with researching, generating, and communicating accounting policies.
• Assist Finance and Accounting teams with ad-hoc projects.

What You Bring :

$95,000 - $103,000 a year
