Job Description

Apex Systems is hiring for an IT Systems Manager with a reputable pharma client. The position supports an expansion project onsite in Clayton, NC. The ideal candidate will manage multiple IT systems, provide project oversight, drive deliverables, and partner with key stakeholders. The resource will ensure adherence to client regulatory requirements for assigned IT systems. The role reports to the IT / Automation team. Tasks are expected to be completed within budget, on time, and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT systems within a production manufacturing environment; oversee IT projects and system management.
• Provide project oversight and drive deliverables; partner with stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (GxP) and IT frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and PIC / S Annex 11.
• Oversee system development lifecycle including validation of computer systems, operation and maintenance, and decommissioning of systems.
• Understand manufacturing processes in manufacturing areas (aseptic, inspection, assembly, packaging, utilities, and laboratories).
• Maintain GxP documentation practices and contribute to computer system validation activities.
• Work in project teams to drive deliverables, tasks, and activities related to computer system validation.
