Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based imaging services department covering both adult and pediatric patients Three fluoroscopy rooms, four plain film rooms, seven portables, seven C-arms, and one O-ARM available Average volume is 190 x-rays per day across a 24-hour period Patient types include inpatients, outpatients, ED, trauma, NICU, OR, neonates through geriatrics Procedures include fluoroscopy (inpatient and outpatient), OR (cross-table spine, cervical ortho), and general x-ray of all body parts Shift schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 0700-1730) Weekend rotation and 24 hours of weekend call per month required, with a 30-minute onsite call response time Will float between all imaging areas and to the affiliated children's hospital as needed Uses EPIC EMR with Radiant module, McKesson PACS, Digital Siemens x-ray, Shimadzu portable x-ray, and OEC C-arms Duties include independent operation of imaging equipment, transporting ED patients to and from x-ray, and providing imaging in diverse clinical settings Protocol manuals are available in the department Orientation includes 4-5 days hospital and unit training, with a focus on fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and portable imaging Support available from RTs, hospitalists, and intensivists 24 / 7 Holiday coverage is expected if assigned shift falls on the holiday Any color scrubs allowed except camo, denim, or hoodies; OR scrubs provided by hospital when working in the OR Closed toe shoes required; free parking in designated areas Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an acute care setting BLS certification required ARRT or RCIS certification required Washington State Rad Tech License required, or license required if applicable Experience with general x-ray, fluoroscopy, OR, trauma, portable imaging, and C-arms required Must have experience with neonates, pediatrics, ICU, and trauma patients Proficiency with EPIC EMR required; experience with McKesson PACS and Digital Siemens x-ray strongly preferred First-time travelers accepted if they have acute care experience Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621586.
