PrideStaff is looking for Certified Welding Inspector
Review and approve welding procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
Designs welding projects, communicating specific equipment and component requirements to welders.
Verify welder and welding procedure qualifications to ensure adherence to regulatory and safety requirements.
Ensure all welding activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
Investigates and documents welding defects to determine the appropriate cause and corrective measures.
Develop visual inspection procedures and plan and schedule Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) inspections.
Review contract requirements and ensure vendor and contractor compliance with project specifications.
Develop, implement, and oversee welding quality control programs and measures to maintain high standards.
Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
AWS CWI Certification is required; an Associate degree in Welding, Metals Fabrication, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience with preferably 2+ years of experience as a Certified Welding Inspector or in a similar role.
In-depth understanding of AWS D1.1 & D1.8 standards, weld discontinuities, materials, weldability characteristics, and filler metals.
Pay : $28.00 - $40.00 DOE
