SUMMARY
This role will oversee the installation of fire alarm and fire suppression systems. They serve as a lead on the job site for other technicians and subcontractors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- All team members must embody the company mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their job.
- Perform installations of fire alarm and clean agent / special hazard suppression systems according to work instructions and applicable codes.
- Take a lead role at customer sites, providing oversight and direction to other technicians or sub-contractors.
- Work with the Project Manager, Field Project Superintendent and Install Coordinator to keep the customer informed on job progress.
- Complete all necessary job-related paperwork for compliance and documentation.
- Respond to emergency service requests and take appropriate action.
- Perform in depth troubleshooting, repair and replacement of system equipment.
- Conduct training with customers on the functionality of the fire system.
