Overview

Manager, Brand Media role at DoorDash. The Brand Media team is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and data‑driven marketer to grow DoorDash's Marketplace. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Brand Media and is responsible for end‑to‑end media campaign management, including strategic recommendations, execution, and reporting. You will help redefine the company’s brand media approach to drive higher brand health and inform engagement across use cases, products, and partnerships in sports & entertainment.

Responsibilities

  • Own day‑to‑day operational management of brand media campaigns, including media recommendations, budget management, and data / analytical reporting.
  • Collaborate with agency partners to develop media and brand media integration strategies and tactical recommendations to grow brand consideration and health for key audiences.
  • Inform media recommendations with subject matter expertise, consumer knowledge, and research data through cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Deliver succinct executive communications via post‑campaign reports, insights, and go‑forward recommendations; adapt for other stakeholders.
  • Own work streams with strong project management to ensure_campaigns stay on track, on time, and on budget.
  • Act as the SME for partner products, connecting brand media to adjacent teams (partnerships, brand strategy / creative) to elevate GTM media strategies.
  • Establish new processes and playbooks to optimize internal cross‑functional operations and external agency partnerships, developing best practices.
  • Work with analytics and media partners to build a roadmap for testing and experimentation (incrementality testing, new formats, beta features, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; MBA a plus.
  • 6+ years managing and executing strategic, large‑scale brand media campaigns across channels (OTT / CTV, streaming audio, OOH, sports / entertainment media IP, content, social). Experience with paid media planning, buying, and optimization at an agency or in‑house as a client, ideally at a high‑growth consumer brand.
  • Clear and succinct written communication; comfortable presenting to executives and cross‑functional partners.
  • Data‑driven mindset with ability to analyze data, extract insights, and make decisions while maintaining bias for action.
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, partnerships, analytics, and other teams in matrixed organizations.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial mindset; ability to solve problems, build processes, and adapt with limited resources.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The starting pay range for this role in the United States is $129,200—$190,000 USD, plus opportunities for equity grants. Base salary is localized by location.
