Sr Principal Engineer Embedded Software

Overview

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector has a need for a Senior Principal Embedded Software Engineer at its Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) organization in Warner Robins, GA. This engineering position is for a role on our Embedded Software Engineering Team. You will be supporting our B-1B Electronic Warfare Software Program and will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team focused on the modernization and sustainment of the ALQ-161A system for the B-1B platform. This position requires on-site work in Warner Robins, GA.

Your responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain embedded operational flight programs using software development best practices and standards.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements development, modeling and design, unit to CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance.
• Provide leadership in solving complex problems.
• Interact with Program Management, external suppliers and / or government customers; strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills are essential.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range : $118,600.00 - $178,000.00. The range represents a general guideline; final offers consider scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results.
