  • Provider will work shifts at both Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center and Bon Secours Southside Medical Center

About Bon Secours Southside Medical Center

  • ED Volume : 46,000
  • ED Beds : 42
  • Staffing Model : 8-12 hour APP shifts
  • EMR : Epic
  • 6-10% of the ED population is pediatrics
  • 15-22% admission rate (combined true hospital admits and observation admits)
  • USACS hospitalists admit 80% of the admitted patients in the hospital
  • Two Sonosite machines in ED
  • GlideScope with pediatric / adult blades and flexible fiberoptic scope attachment
  • Ultrasound-guided IVs and splints done by RNs and techs
  • 300-bed acute care hospital
