Overview
The Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) has four major operational divisions : Army National Guard, Air National Guard, Civil Air Patrol, and Veterans Affairs. These divisions utilize state and federal resources to provide communities, the State, and the nation with a ready military force for national defense and State emergency response, as well as providing assistance to Colorado veterans. This position is part of the Army National Guard Division, Construction and Facilities Maintenance Office of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. The role provides technical and professional engineering services to optimize mechanical systems and energy efficiencies across Colorado Army facilities.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Current, valid licensure as a Professional Engineer from the Colorado State Board of Licensure for Architects, Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors. (Please attach your license to this application.)
Two years of professional experience as a Professional Engineer and / or energy efficiency duties for new / existing buildings, one of which must have been as a licensed professional engineer.
Must be able to secure and maintain a Federal Security Clearance.
Substitutions
Appropriate education, in addition to that required for the professional engineer license, will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. There is no substitution for a current, valid licensure as a Professional Engineer from the Colorado State Board of Licensure for Architects, Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors.
