Metrology Quality Engineer

Agile Space Industries, Inc. (AGILE) designs, builds, and tests in-space propulsion systems for satellites and spacecraft. AGILE uses state of the art 3D metal alloy printing techniques to rapidly design, manufacture, and test new engine designs. AGILE is headquartered in Durango, CO with a facility in Mount Pleasant, PA and growing presence in Tulsa, OK.

Are you passionate about quality and eager to make a positive impact in the Space and Defense Industry? We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Metrology Quality Engineer to join our team onsite in Durango, CO. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our testing capabilities meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in our testing processes and drive initiatives that enhance the quality of our hot fire testing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing metrology procedures, techniques, and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Developing processes for calibration transfers.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address measurement-related issues and improve processes.
• Documenting measurement data and maintaining measurement records to support traceability and continuous improvement efforts.
• Analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance measurement accuracy and efficiency.

Location : Durango, CO

The salary range for this role is $73,000-$116,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and internal equity, and is typically midrange rather than the upper end.
