This includes basic assembly, configuration, testing, and packaging of industrial automation products. Understanding the manufacturing process in detail, troubleshooting at an appropriate level, and involving senior staff members if / when you are not able to correct the problem. Monitor and check product quality as you will be responsible for identifying when the process is deviating from the norm and taking action to correct it. Understand product assembly, configuration, test, and packaging documentation. Understand lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the production process. Follow internal protocols and standard work guidelines as well as following good manufacturing practices to maintain site compliance to certified quality standards. Promotes all safety rules and initiatives. Personally responsible for the safety of self and others in their work area. In a Manufacturing Technician role, you will work in a manufacturing environment where the following duties will be completed; perform various assembly (including soldering), configuration, test and packaging operations on industrial automation products. Manufacturing Technicians will work in a fast-paced environment utilizing many different types of industrial automation support equipment so you need to have a good fundamental knowledge about manufacturing and production concepts. The ability to comprehend technical procedures and processes is a must. High attention to detail and good problem-solving skills are keys to success in this role.
