Responsibilities Position is within a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital with a level 2 trauma designation Labor & Delivery unit features 9 labor beds, 6 triage beds, and 3 PACU beds Handles approximately 2,500 deliveries annually with a high-risk OB population Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Responsibilities include labor support, fetal monitoring interpretation, circulating c-sections, and post-anesthesia care Travelers may provide care in triage, PACU, and labor settings as needed Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are eligible at a reduced rate Travelers are required to complete online training modules prior to starting assignment Past employees may require a formal review process before returning Timekeeping is managed via Kronos system Scrub requirements will be specified during onboarding Requirements Active NY RN license required Current AHA certifications : BLS and NRP AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required (Advanced EFM not accepted) Experience circulating in the OR for c-sections and providing PACU / recovery room care Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required Minimum 3 years of current L&D experience preferred, especially in a high-risk OB setting Two recent professional references from prior managers within the past year Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614152.
