Colorado Visiting Nurse Association has an immediate opening for a Physical Therapist Assistant on the Northwest Team.

Location : Commerce City, Arvada, Broomfield, Westminster, Boulder

Status : Full-time

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8-5

Pay Range : Per Visit Rate Pay Model

Supplemental Pay : Based on position, schedule and / or availability : Paid Mileage / Overtime

Mileage and Expense Reimbursement : Sixty-two and a half cents per mile one of the highest in the industry!

Rewarding Work You Will Do :

Responsible for performing physical therapy and conducting case management under the direction of a qualified therapist. Performs services planned, delegated and supervised by a qualified therapist. Assists in preparing clinical notes and progress reports. The procedures may include (but are not limited to) : ultrasound treatment, application of heat and cold, massage, gait training, muscle stimulation, assistance and training in cardio-pulmonary exercise, mobilization, assistance and training with ambulation, range of motion exercises, patient transfer, strengthening techniques, electrotherapy, prosthetic training, and adaptive equipment. Participates in educating the patient and family.
