Responsibilities Work in a Med / Surg Tele unit with a primary focus on oncology patients Majority of patients require continuous cardiac monitoring and management related to chemotherapy and comorbidities Patient ratio is 1 : 4 Utilizes GE B450 telemetry monitors, bladder scanner, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds Night shifts with 12-hour duration (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Schedule is determined by the facility with no set weekends or block scheduling; flexibility required Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity Uses Epic EMR and experience with this system is required Responsibilities include infection prevention, patient safety, management of symptoms and comorbidities, and high-acuity oncology care Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and falls risk mitigation First-time travelers are welcome to apply Former employees are eligible if separated from the facility for at least 6 months Locals are accepted at the same rate All time off requests must be communicated and approved at contract initiation Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after accepting an assignment Scrub and dress code details to be provided by the facility upon onboarding Requirements Active OH or compact RN license in hand Minimum of 2 years RN experience required Basic Life Support (BLS / BCLS) certification required Epic charting experience required Previous travel experience preferred Proficiency with dysrhythmia interpretation, port access, arterial line management, blood product administration, central and PICC line care, IV starts, chest tube assistance, and high flow nasal cannula Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Two professional references required, including at least one supervisor or manager Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-616890.
