We're looking for an Account Manager with at least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing, revenue-generating role to manage and grow client accounts through contract renewals, up-sells, and cross-sells. This role requires excellent communication skills, relationship management expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts through contract renewals, up-sells, and cross-sells.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to drive business growth.
  • Present products and services to corporate accounts and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Ensure customer issues are acknowledged and resolved within 24 hours.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Client Services teams to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities and maintain a well-managed sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • Experience in last-mile logistics : Background in logistics, transportation management, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience in a software company : Familiarity with SaaS products, particularly in a B2B environment.
  • Sales experience : Previous role in sales with a focus on account growth, ideally with quota-carrying responsibilities.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication is required.
  • Relationship Management : Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Problem-Solving : Ensuring customer issues are acknowledged and resolved within 24 hours.
  • Adaptability : Ability to work in a fast-changing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across internal departments, including product and professional services.
  • Nice to have

  • Deep experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain : Beyond basic industry knowledge, a strong background in these areas is a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude in software : Ability to quickly understand and explain technical aspects of software solutions in a business context.
  • Business generalist mindset : Experience working across multiple business functions, including accounting, operations, and sales.
  • Experience with sales and communication tools : Familiarity with sales enablement platforms, co-pilot tools, or automation software to enhance client engagement.
  • Experience with AI tools, such as note-taking applications or platforms like ChatGPT, to streamline workflows and enhance productivity
