Base pay range : $75,000.00 / yr - $90,000.00 / yr

Location & Employment

This is an onsite role (4 days per week, Buffalo Grove, IL) with no visa sponsorship available.

The Role

As the company’s first UX hire, you’ll lead design efforts company-wide, working closely with engineers, senior leadership, and product managers. You’ll take charge of developing new product wireframes, refreshing existing products, and driving user-centered design practices into the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Lead UX initiatives across web, mobile, and PC-based product interfaces.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for new products within your first few months.
• Refresh and modernize existing product interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior stakeholders to balance technical feasibility with user needs.
• Advocate for UX best practices and influence design decisions with data and empathy.
• Work independently on projects with minimal direction, delivering complete design solutions.
• Create intuitive interfaces for data-heavy products (charts, graphs, and visualizations).
• Stay current with UX trends and tools, continuously improving design processes.
