About The Position

Cath Lab Tech

Radiology / Cardiology

Cath Lab Tech

Duration : 12 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : Valid state license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, ARRT

Must-Have :

Cardiac catheterization experience

Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)

Atherectomy

Vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures

Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record systems

Description :

Position available for a Cath Lab Tech / Rad Tech.

The role requires two years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Variable weekend shifts are required, along with on-call responsibilities.

Floating to other facilities may be necessary to provide support.

Local candidates will not be accepted beyond a 75-mile radius.

Pending state licenses may be accepted.

Skills in performing cardiac catheterizations and related procedures are essential.

Preferred skills include electrophysiology studies, angioplasty, and stent placement.

Candidates should be proficient in monitoring patients, setting up equipment, and maintaining sterile fields.

Knowledge of isolation precautions is necessary.

All candidates should be able to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.

Experience with emergency response and teamwork is preferred.

Professionalism and adherence to protocols are critical to this role.

Candidates are expected to complete all necessary compliance training before starting the assignment.
