Overview
Assistant Director (Research Compliance Leader) role at Indiana University. The Indiana University (IU) Human Research Protection Program (HRPP), within the Office for Research Compliance, ensures human subject research is conducted ethically and in compliance. The day-to-day operations of the IU Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) are administered and supported by the IU Human Subjects Office (HSO). HRPP staff provide guidance to researchers on IRB review requirements and may consult IRB members as needed. The Quality Improvement Office conducts audits of human subjects research. HRPP staff are available to answer questions and offer educational and training opportunities related to human subjects research.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and operate a computer and standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work and periods of time moving around an office environment and campus. The successful candidate must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
Location and Schedule
Indianapolis, Indiana. This position is eligible for remote work or a hybrid schedule (mix of remote and in-person), subject to change based on university policy and business needs.
