Job Description :
This is an entry-level, hands-on laboratory position responsible for conducting analytical testing and supporting quality control operations. The QC Analyst performs tests on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, stability studies, and cleaning validations while ensuring full compliance with GMP, SOPs, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform high-quality analytical testing in compliance with USP / NF / EP / JP / FCC or client-specific methods, including Dissolution, Titration, Polarimetry, Loss on Drying, Viscosity, Residue on Ignition, Heavy Metal Content, FTIR, HPLC, and GC.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all analytical work performed.
- Interpret, analyze, and effectively communicate test results and findings.
- Organize and prioritize daily testing tasks to meet production timelines.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Follow laboratory safety and chemical hygiene protocols at all times.
- Demonstrate proficiency in relevant SOPs and test methodologies.
- Collaborate in a “flow to the work” team environment, supporting shared objectives.
- Participate in peer review of analytical data and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Contribute to the drafting and revision of SOPs as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace.
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences (no prior experience required), or a Bachelor’s degree in another field with relevant QC laboratory experience.Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.Working knowledge of standard laboratory instruments and analytical techniques.Understanding of lab safety protocols and chemical handling.Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to perform repetitive analytical work while standing for extended periods.High attention to detail and commitment to accurate first-pass testing.
