Delta is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our downtown Chicago office.
This role requires electrical engineering design proficiency for the preparation of plan drawings, specifications, and exhibits. A qualified candidate will demonstrate responsible care and autonomy to complete design and drafting under the supervision of senior engineer. Some projects will require direct coordination with clients in addition to internal collaboration with other disciplines.

Responsibilities
- Perform electrical design for facilities : lighting, power distribution, alarms, communications, voltage drop calculations, generator and transformer sizing, substation and ground grid design and analysis.
- Perform roadway lighting and photometric calculations using AGI 32 software
- Perform Intelligent Transportation Systems design including fiber optic cable sizing, CCTV, and vehicle detection device selection
- Experience with SKM Power Tools
- Attend client meetings
- Provide construction phase services including site visits
- Compile milestone deliverables (calculations, drawings, specs, etc) consistent with client standards
- Organize both physical and digital project documentation
- Prepare new and modify existing drawings in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microstation
- Coordinate with project team members including engineers, technicians, and management
- Participate in QA / QC process to maintain the quality of work completed by staff
- Prioritize tasks and balance workload according to project needs
Minimum Qualifications
