Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based operating room with a 7-suite OR environment Patient population includes orthopedic, total joint, sports medicine, hand, podiatry, eye, general, plastics, urology, GYN, and ENT cases Shift is 8 hours, 7a-3p, days, with call requirements Operating room is open 24 hours with variable shifts and mandatory call / standby Call response time is within 45 minutes Weekend and holiday call coverage required Floating to other ORs may be required Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required OR scrubs are provided by the hospital No scrubbing required for this RN position Support from OR techs is provided Unit-specific orientation of 3-4 days will be offered Free parking is available for staff Holiday shift coverage is mandatory as scheduled Candidates may not have been directly employed (including full or part-time, or PRN) by CommonSpirit / CHI / Dignity within the past year; PRN via outside firms is acceptable Candidates must provide two professional references—one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS certification required Minimum 3 years of operating room RN experience required Demonstrated experience circulating orthopedic cases Prior Epic EMR experience required Ability to respond to call within the 45-minute requirement Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627253.
