Nature & Purpose of Position :

JOB TITLE : Outdoor Recreation Student Assistant

HOURS : Climbing Gym is open Mon-Fri 2-8pm. Hours vary depending on availability and roles within the program.

JOB FUNCTION : Assist with the day to day operation of the Outdoor Recreation Program which includes the following :

Climbing Center

• Welcome participants into the facility and check them in and ensure waiver is on file or signed.
• Oversee the safe usage of the climbing center.
• Ensure that all participants are qualified to use the climbing wall.
• Correct any improper use of the climbing center or the equipment.
• Clean up around the climbing center area as needed, as well as keep up with general maintenance of the climbing wall.
• Provide care and supervision in the event of an emergency.
