As a Director in our Technology and Experience practice and Software Engineering discipline, you will join a leadership team focused on helping companies become digital in every part of their business, while mentoring the next generation of leaders at West Monroe. You will drive opportunities to strategize, design, and build bespoke software products, legacy modernization, modern integration platforms, and intelligent products and agents that use AI including machine learning and GenAI. Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Lead and / or collaborate with industry teams and key accounts on account planning and execute plans for account growth
- Leverage executive relationships to secure meetings and generate new business at target accounts
- Identify opportunities, design solutions, develop proposals / SOWs, select delivery models, build client relationships, and help close deals
- Develop go-to-market messaging and sales materials to support prospects and clients
- Create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for potential engagements
- Contribute to thought leadership to strengthen marketing efforts
- Attend networking events and build a professional and affiliate network
- Identify partnerships that can become sales channels and collaborate with the partnerships team
- Client Leadership
- Provide subject-matter depth in designing and delivering bespoke digital products, leading modernization and integration engagements, and advising executives
- Lead teams as engagement lead with accountability for delivery and executive presence
- Ensure value realization through regular client touchpoints
- Identify and leverage accelerators addressing industry-specific challenges
- Practice Development
- Collaborate with national Technology and Experience leaders to evangelize, develop, and deliver data-driven software and integration capabilities
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to enhance delivery capabilities across practice areas
Qualifications
12+ years of experience in a high-growth, client-facing digital and / or global business and technology consulting environment, including direct experience selling and delivering digital software engineering and integration advisory servicesDomain expertise in digital product, software engineering, modernization, modern integration platform, and AI-enabled solutionsProven track record selling to Fortune 1000 and enterprise clients; multi-million dollar deals annuallyExperience hunting, farming, and closing large-scale product engineering opportunities with on-shore / near-shore deliveryAbility to work independently and as part of a team in driving sales processesProduct and engineering market experience in one or more industries (High-Tech / Software, Private Equity, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, or Consumer & Industrial)Expertise in sales strategy, business development, pricing, account management, and bringing new products to marketStrong ability to combine technical experience with leadership and client relationship managementExcellent communication skills with C-level clientsBacheloregree or equivalent professional experienceAbility to travel as required; in-person presence three days a week is required (in-person may include client sites, market, or office).
