Join our team as a Fire Alarm Inspection Technician and receive a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000.00.

We are looking for dedicated professionals with knowledge of testing fire detection and protection equipment and systems, NFPA alarm system requirements, and customer relations experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Test electronic alarm systems consisting of fire, security, access, sprinkler, etc.
  • Generate electronic and paper documentation for system certification.
  • Operate and maintain a company vehicle.
  • Communicate with team members and customers regarding alarm systems.
  • Supervise Assistant Testers and perform minor repairs.

Requirements :

  • 3-5 years of experience in the fire protection industry.
  • Familiarity with various alarm systems, test equipment, and communications equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license.
  • NICET II in water-based fire protection systems.

  • Ability to climb, crawl, and work at heights.
  • Ability to operate electrical tools and differentiate color coding of cables.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
