Access Services Library Technician and Supervisor
As an Access Services Library Technician and Shift Supervisor at NC State University Libraries, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and innovative experience for all library users. You’ll oversee information and circulation services at the Libraries’ Ask Us service points—directly providing assistance to patrons with tasks ranging from finding resources to booking tech consultations. In this role, you’ll coordinate projects across library locations, manage print collections, analyze trends, and streamline workflows to support a seamless library experience. You’ll also recruit, train, and supervise full-time staff and a dynamic student team, while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement among staff.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience in library services, office support, or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
