What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will :

Lead and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the department, ensuring alignment with short-term goals.

Actively share knowledge and collaborate within and across departments to foster innovation and continuous improvement.

Identify and implement potential improvements in processes or products, taking calculated risks to develop innovative ideas.

Solve moderately complex problems within your area of expertise and assist with cross-functional issues, providing technical guidance and oversight.

Oversee operational activities, manage multiple projects, and ensure compliance with regulations and GMP through effective execution of unit operations.

Manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing assessment, recognizing and addressing development needs.

Solicit input, explain complex concepts, and persuade others to adopt a point of view, building alignment across manufacturing assets.

Own human performance event investigations as Lead Investigator, making autonomous decisions with minor impact and escalating significant decisions.

Form, lead, and facilitate cross-functional teams to execute key processes, ensuring accountability for the production activities of numerous Pfizer products.

Assist with short-range and long-range planning, including scheduling operations and staff, and coordinating facilities shutdowns and preventive maintenance.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

BA / BS with at least 4 years of experience OR MBA / MS with at least 2 years of experience OR PhD / JD with any years of experience OR Associate's degree with at least 8 years of experience OR High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience

A robust grasp of industry knowledge and business operations, such as financial basics, enterprise systems like payroll and inventory management

Proficiency in administrative, managerial, and technical report writing skills

Effective written and oral communication skills

Strong computer and presentation capabilities

Experience in people management

Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

Certifications in Continuous Improvement or Project Management

Familiarity with Local Environmental Health and Safety standards

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Experience in motivating and developing team members

Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Physical / Mental requirements

Requires the moving of heavy equipment and the ability to lift ~40 pounds.

Strong problem-solving skills in a structured environment

Non-Standard work schedulem travel or environment requirements

Supports a 24 / 7 facility. M-F 2nd Shift 2 : 00PM -10 : 30PM

Ability to work 1st shift until GMP operations start.

Ability to support operations and training in other shifts when needed.

Ability to work weekends when needed

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $102,900.00 to $171,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
