Position Overview :
We’re seeking a hospitality-forward Line Cook to join our team. This position is essential to both guest service and team support. Line Cooks are responsible for setting up their station, preparing dishes on the kitchen line, and providing support to their teammates to ensure seamless execution of food.
Key Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate professionalism, commitment to the team, and high quality work.
- Communicate effectively with the front of house and leadership to ensure smooth service flow.
- Perform duties as assigned by leadership to support our commitment to hospitality, quality food, and beverage.
- Set up, stock, and organize assigned station with necessary ingredients and supplies before service begins.
- Prepare and cook menu items at assigned station according to recipe and presentation standards.
- Ensure dishes are plated in a timely manner, placing attention to details.
- Work collaboratively with the line to complete orders timely and accurately.
- Answer, report, and follow the Chefs’ instructions
- Work efficiently under pressure and maintain composure during busy hours.
- Support fellow team members during service.
- Maintain station in compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Rotate items in storage daily.
- Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties to restaurant standards.
- Be flexible and adaptable to the evolving needs of the restaurant and its guests.
Qualifications :
ServSafe certifiedWork well within a team.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate a physically active service environment.1-3 years of experience as a line cook, preferably in a high-intensity, high-volume kitchen;Wood-fired cooking experience is ideal but not requiredBasic knowledge of cooking techniques and excellent knife skillsStrong passion and dedication to food, beverage, and hospitalityMust be able to multitask and maintain a clean and orderly work areaA professional, friendly personality with excellent interpersonal communication skillsFlexible hours are required (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)Must possess a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detailJob Type : Part-time / Full-time
Compensation : $21-23
