Screen potential tenants, negotiate lease agreements, and coordinate move-ins and move-outs. Monitor tenant compliance with lease terms, including operating hours for retail spaces. Develop and execute effective sales and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. Market available properties through various channels, including online platforms, social media, and networking. Showcase residential and retail spaces to prospective tenants and buyers, highlighting key features and benefits. Collect rent and other payments, maintaining accurate financial records. Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and real estate laws to capitalize on opportunities. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws. Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential risks and address them proactively to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Proven experience in property management, preferably with residential and retail properties. Strong understanding of leasing practices and property management software. Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Knowledge of local real estate laws, building codes, and safety regulations. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred. Property management certification (e.g., CPM, ARM) is a plus. Real estate license is preferred.
