Description :

The position involves working in Interventional Radiology.

The facility has a total of 874 licensed beds.

It is designated as a Level I Trauma Center.

This is a teaching hospital and a designated Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center.

The average patient volume is 50-60 in work-up and recovery daily.

The patient population includes adults and pediatrics from various departments and outpatient settings.

The role requires a confident and skilled RN who can thrive in fast-paced settings.

All departments are supported by a lead tech, modality supervisor, and an imaging manager.

Team members possess diverse levels of experience, from new graduates to seasoned professionals.

The electronic medical record system utilized is EPIC.

Equipment includes iSTAT and POC.

There will be no floating to other departments.

Travelers will not rotate between weekends and weekdays; they will adhere to the agreed shifts in the contract.

Call duties are shared among the team, ensuring fair rotation.

Holiday coverage expectations will apply to travelers unless pre-approved.

The nursing team dresses in navy blue scrubs.

The departmental culture emphasizes good teamwork and high clinical skill sets.
