Corporate Consolidations And Internal Financial Reporting Manager

This position is responsible for the following functions : managing and overseeing the monthly financial reporting cycle for Berkshire Hathaway Energy and subsidiaries; general accounting and ledger maintenance for all BHE corporate entities; facilitating the reporting of monthly results to Berkshire Hathaway and the external reporting department; sets direction, manages work and serves as key contact on cross-business accounting projects and initiatives; managing relationships with BHE subsidiary financial groups and the organization that support financial systems; providing guidance, direction and support to business units, and implementation of new accounting standards. Additionally, this position will ensure proper procedures and controls are in place and ensure corporate compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404 and ISO 27001 certification. The manager of corporate consolidations and internal financial reporting must have a broad understanding of accounting and reporting requirements and the practices employed by the company and be able to effectively communicate such information to company management and subsidiary employees
