Description
Robert Half is seeking a Visual Designer for a long-term contract role with a leading global financial services organization in Jersey City. This role is best suited for a highly organized, execution-focused designer who can create clean, corporate design work across print and digital formats. The ideal candidate is confident working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can incorporate feedback with ease.
Location : Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration : 12 Months w / potential to extend or convert to FTE
Hours : 40 hours / week
Pay Rate : $45-50 / hour
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and produce a variety of internal-facing creative materials including print and digital collateral, iconography, banners, and digital signage.
- Create and manage templates using tools like Canva, Adobe Express, and Figma to support internal communications and branding efforts.
- Build consistent and polished design systems including icon libraries, email banners, and marketing variations.
- Provide light video editing support for internal communications, including basic motion graphics or title screens.
- Maintain strong organization of files and assets for efficient reuse and easy access by cross-functional teams.
- Apply brand guidelines while maintaining a high level of creativity and design integrity.
- Receive and implement design feedback with professionalism and a collaborative attitude.
- Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines without last-minute scrambles.
Requirements :
3-5 years of hands-on visual or graphic design experience in a corporate or agency setting.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro), Canva, Adobe Express, and basic Figma.Portfolio showcasing expertise in layout, typography, iconography, and hybrid design (print + digital).Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate on designs quickly.Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.Self-starter with a can-do attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute.Preferred Qualifications :
Basic video editing or motion graphic capabilities.Experience creating templated design systems and internal-facing visual assets.Familiarity with producing multiple creative variations from a single campaign concept.Style aligned with modern, clean, and professional visual design.A portfolio is required for consideration.
