KCL Engineering is hiring the Senior Electrical Engineer - Energy / Industrial. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead electrical design project teams on projects including power, process, healthcare, institutional, and industrial facilities. You will guide the project team through design and construction, adapting electrical plans to project needs.

Oversee the electrical design of projects from concept through completion, aligning with project manager requirementsDevelop specifications and data sheets for electrical equipment, RFQs, technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendationsReview vendor drawings and coordinate data exchanges with suppliers, clients, and other engineering teamsContribute to project schedules, scopes, budgets, staffing plans, and construction strategies; manage change ordersApply knowledge of electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures; discover innovative design solutionsConduct quality reviews of production drawings and project data using CAD softwareReview construction administration, address installation challenges, calculations, and testing of electrical systems with field personnelLead field inspections, measurements, or calculations for public and private clientsPrepare and deliver technical reports for clients and industry publicationsFoster relationships with clients, customers, and contractors; identify opportunities and ensure customer satisfactionEngage in sales and marketing activities; develop cost proposals and qualification statements to meet targetsDevelop and present project budgets and cost estimates; monitor project performanceProvide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the electrical engineering teamEnsure QA / QC processes; coordinate with other engineering disciplines; comply with safety policiesPerform other assigned duties and adhere to policies and standardsQualifications
ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree; 7+ years of electrical engineering experience; EPC project experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office; excellent written and verbal communicationExperience overseeing discipline design for large projects and leading project execution; strong problem-solving and analytical skillsWillingness to travel as neededProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferredSpecial Conditions
