Sales Analyst
The Sales Analyst is responsible for delivering analytical and operational support to drive the success of Topps brands across major retail partners. This role requires a proactive, data-driven professional who can analyze business performance, identify growth opportunities and potential risks, and execute key sales support functions. The Sales Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally and communicate insights to both internal stakeholders and retail partners to support strategic decision-making and executional excellence. This role will report to Director, Retail Sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain and manage weekly reporting tools and dashboards to monitor performance across key retailers and internal business teams.
- Analyze sales data, customer insights, and marketplace trends to identify actionable opportunities that support business growth and market share expansion.
- Conduct post-promotional and efficiency analyses to measure performance and optimize future initiatives.
- Business Performance & Execution
- Monitor competitive brands and categories to understand shopper trends and potential threats to Topps' business.
- Manage and track new item launches, ensuring speed to shelf, accurate setup, and successful retail execution.
- Support deduction management and coordinate with internal finance teams to resolve outstanding issues.
- Maintain full responsibility for item management within retailer systems, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
- Inventory & Forecasting
- Calculate retailer inventory needs, addressing weeks-of-supply (WOS) challenges and executing item-level forecast adjustments.
- Manage clearance and aged inventory to optimize sell-through and minimize residual stock.
- Sales Support & Collaboration
- Support sales leads with display bids, performance recaps, and planogram (POG) creation to ensure optimal shelf presence and visibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external retail partners to maximize sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the broader analyst community across retailers to share best practices, improve processes, and foster knowledge exchange.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.13 years of experience in Sales Analytics or related functions; experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry preferred.Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in execution.Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.Experience managing item setup and maintenance across multiple retail systems, including Retail Link, required.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contributing to the growth of a transformational brand.The salary range for this position is $77,500 - $95,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
