Fractional HR & Payroll Compliance Specialist (REMOTE) Part-Time | 1–3 hours / week | $13–$15 / hour | 1099 Contractor Discovery Therapy is seeking a remote, part-time HR & Payroll Compliance Specialist to manage all HR functions in a lean and structured organization.

We provide therapy services across Pennsylvania — your work will support our mission from behind the scenes.

This role is perfect for an HR-certified professional who wants flexible, low-hour work focused on compliance, payroll prep, and HR documentation. ⸻ Responsibilities

• Review and prepare accurate, audit-ready payroll reports (no processing)
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies
• Maintain and organize digital HR files and documentation
• Support leadership with ongoing HR compliance, tracking, and records management ⸻ Qualifications
• HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and documentation standards
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in Google Sheets or other cloud-based tools
• Must be willing to complete required Pennsylvania background checks :
• PA Child Abuse Clearance
• PA State Background Check
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance
