SUMMARY : The CMM Programmer III will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of parts daily while also writing and verifying CMM programs for production. This role involves both hands-on inspection and programming responsibilities to ensure high-quality products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Write CMM programs offline and follow through to set-up and program verification for production
• Write CMM programs online to inspect finished products and process inspection
• Collaborate with other programmers and operators to achieve results
• Prove out data for nonconforming items
• Ensure there are no issues with fixturing and work with engineering groups to produce the best fixturing
• Follow the program through the first set-up and run to ensure accuracy
• Be actively involved in troubleshooting discrepancies and validating discrepancies as needed
• Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

CERTIFICATION (Preferred) :

LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

REASONING ABILITY : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Authorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
