Base pay range

$45.00 / hr - $50.00 / hr

Join our team as a Plant Support Engineer based out of Detroit, Michigan

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• Experience installing equipment and launch experience. Will have oversight of build, lead of installation, and launch of systems for processing and testing of manufactured parts.
• Project Management background, will oversee total system : Controls, ergonomic, safety, process, etc. candidate is expected to carry capacity, capability, general mechanical, electrical, process and launch.
• Understands how to test parts for quality concerns. Will oversee Concepting, specification, and sourcing of quality testing and quality data management systems.
• Experience collecting data from testing and uploading to the cloud. Will be responsible for development of plantwide quality process and data collection / retention systems
• Understands commissioning and electrical controls
• Motivated, self-starter (will not be having a ton of direction and will oversee controls engineering)
• Travel to Shelbyville Kentucky, weekly starting Feb 2026-Dec 2026
