We’re Hiring : Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT) / Mental Health Clinician

What You’ll Do

As an AMFT / Mental Health Clinician , you’ll play a vital role in helping clients overcome challenges related to substance use, mental health, and family dynamics. You’ll provide direct clinical care, collaborate with a supportive multi-disciplinary team, and connect clients with resources that foster lasting recovery.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct client assessments and diagnose substance use disorders.

Provide crisis intervention, treatment, and case management services.

Develop individualized and group treatment plans addressing emotional, mental, and family needs.

Facilitate therapy sessions with clients and families in clinical, school, and community settings.

Maintain accurate case histories and progress notes.

Collaborate with caseworkers, probation officers, and community resources to support client recovery.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review cases and treatment approaches.

Provide outreach, education, and support services within the community.

Under supervision, evaluate clients for voluntary or involuntary psychiatric admission when necessary.

What We’re Looking For

Education : Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.

Licensure : Registered as an AMFT (Associate Marriage & Family Therapist) with the California BBS within 30 days of hire. Licensure must be obtained within 6 years per BBS requirements.

Skills & Traits : Patient, compassionate, strong judgment, excellent decision-making skills, and a true commitment to client care.

Experience : Internship or professional experience providing clinical services, assessments, and counseling in mental health or substance use settings.

Physical & Mental Requirements

Moderate sitting, standing, and walking.

Ability to engage with clients in both office and community-based environments.
