Location : New York, NY
Shift : 9 : 00AM – 5 : 30PM, Monday to Friday – availability to work overtime or on weekends required (on-site)
Duration : Temp-to-hire
Pay Range : $48 – $72 per hour
About the Role
As a Project Manager / Data Analyst, you will support the Operations department's Conflicts, Intake, and Information Governance team. Your focus will be on managing records-related projects, ensuring compliance with firm policies and legal standards, and leveraging data to drive system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning, execution, and monitoring of records-related projects, ensuring compliance with firm policies and legal standards.
- Assist in developing and executing test plans for updates to legal records systems such as Intapp Walls and FileTrail.
- Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends, discrepancies, and quality issues; create detailed reports for internal teams and vendors.
- Review outside counsel guidelines and agreements to extract records and information governance requirements, translating them into operational procedures.
- Support implementation of records retention and disposition schedules in accordance with firm policies and legal obligations.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in a law firm or legal services environment.Strong knowledge of legal records management and destruction processes.IG certification preferred.Supervisory experience preferred.Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with database tools or BI platforms is a plus.Hands-on experience with legal records management systems such as FileTrail, NetDocuments, Intapp Walls, LegalKEY, or iManage.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Benefits
