Join a team dedicated to protecting the safety and integrity of U.S. air travel. Peraton is seeking a Subcontract Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for negotiating, managing, and administering subcontracts while ensuring compliance with FAA and federal acquisition requirements. This is your opportunity to influence one of the most important modernization efforts in U.S. aviation.

In this position, you will :

• Lead the negotiation, administration, and management of subcontracts throughout their lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractor communications and issue resolution.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), FAR, and other federal requirements.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Procurement, and Program Management to align subcontract performance with program objectives.
• Develop, monitor, and manage subcontractor deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Conduct subcontractor evaluations, performance reviews, and audits.
• Manage cost, schedule, and performance risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Support proposal efforts, including developing subcontract strategies and cost estimates.
• Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation and subcontract files.
• Provide reports and briefings on subcontract performance to program leadership and FAA stakeholders.
• Experience supporting multi-subcontractor programs with complex dependencies.
• Interpret subcontract cost and pricing data.
• Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance against contractual requirements.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
