Job Title : Senior Front-End / Web UI Developer

Duration : 6 contract with potential to extend

Location : Charlotte, NC; Remote (local candidates preferred)

Compensation : $51-59 / hour

Work Requirements : Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

About The Project

We are modernizing and optimizing an existing ASP.NET web application that serves as a core platform for our business. The site currently leverages ASP.NET, HTML, MVC, Telerik UI, jQuery, VSTO (Office integrations), and CSS . We're looking for two experienced Senior Front-End / Web UI Developers to update the front end with a focus on optimizing performance with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend developers and business analysts to refine requirements and deliver high-quality UI features.
• Optimize performance and responsiveness of existing ASP.NET MVC views and components.
• Implement modern CSS best practices (flex, grid, responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility).
• Refactor and enhance jQuery / Telerik-based UI components for usability and maintainability.
• Integrate front-end components seamlessly with ASP.NET MVC controllers and Razor views.
• Ensure accessibility, usability, and WCAG compliance.
• Assist in Office integration components using VSTO where required.
• Mentor junior team members and provide code reviews.
