Job Title and Details
Job Title : Programming Analyst 2
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Location : In-office position located in Foothill Ranch, CA, with options for a hybrid or possibly remote working setup.
Pay : $35 - 41 an hour
Responsibilities
- Provides technical support to analyze user requests and convert them into useful computerized processes and / or reports.
- Ability to gather information through research, organize data, design workflows, write technical specifications, develop specific code, test, validate, and complete user requests.
- Provides new efficiencies, generates new reports, improves workflow processes, corrects data errors, automates manual tasks, and addresses compliance issues.
- Review and update existing code to ensure it meets regulatory compliance.
- Collaborates with third-party vendors to troubleshoot programming issues.
- Creates clear and accurate programming instructions for operators to follow in production.
Qualifications
Education / Experience : 2-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent education. Strong problem-solving and communication skills required. Financial institution experience (credit union or bank) preferred.Language Ability : Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Capable of presenting information and responding to questions from groups such as managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Math Ability : Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning Ability : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Computer Skills : Experience with Symitar core application systems. Familiarity with basic programming languages, programming cycles, technical documentation, and code standards. Understanding of basic Unix commands and FTP. Proficiency in MS Office, Internet usage, and Web Applications.Certificates and Licenses : None required.Supervisory Responsibilities : This position does not supervise other employees.Work Environment
