Possess strong verbal & written communication skills. English / Spanish Excellent computer skills including excel spreadsheets are a plus. Possess strong organizational skills. Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant estimator experience in the construction industry. (but not Required) High level of working knowledge with general industry and construction rules and regulations. Experience in the Central Texas Market a plus.

Established in 1991, the Jimmy Evans Company is an Austin / San Antonio based company seeking an Experienced Site work Estimating Tech to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Bids by doing Take-offs
- Coordinate Pricing with Subcontractors
- Understand how to utilize take off software
- Take off software (AgTek & BlueBeam)
- Responsible for typical projects including commercial, multifamily and subdivisions
The position will report to the Senior Estimator with a daily focus on the Austin / San Antonio operations.
