As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 12 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 PM

Tue 12 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and maintain a visible presence.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.

Assist visitors and personnel with directions and information while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and local authorities as necessary during incidents or emergencies.

Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A Guard Card is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
